Kerry Vaughan has more than 25 years of makeup artistry experience in special events, fashion, print, film and television. In Vancouver, she worked for MTV Canada and music labels EMI, Sony, Warner and Network with artists such as Avril Lavigne, Nickelback, Nelly Furtado and Jason Mraz. After becoming the key makeup artist for Vancouver’s Breakfast Television (City), she was offered a position on the Toronto-based From the Ground Up with Debbie Travis (Global). Since moving to Toronto in 2006, Kerry has continued to work as a freelance artist and has been teaching with George Brown College’s School of Makeup and Esthetics since 2012. Her television credits include Pick a Puppy (CMT), Chevy Top 20 Countdown (CMT) and Saving Hope (CTV) as well as work with YTV and Global. She has worked on commercials for companies such as Arm & Hammer, General Mills, Kraft, Kellogg’s, Hasbro and Mattel. Her film work includes The Marsh (2006), The Time Traveler’s Wife (2009) and Shimmer Lake (2016). She has worked with celebrity clients such as Kevin Costner, Lionel Richie, The Band Perry, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, The Weeknd, Victoria Duffield, Sean Mendez and Tanya Tucker. Kerry currently divides her time between Toronto and Nashville, working on different projects for Country Music Television (CMT) and as the key makeup artist for Masters of Flip (W Network). She also works in New York as the personal makeup and grooming artist for Brian Fallon of the band The Gaslight Anthem.
