Lidka Schuch is an entrepreneur and educator. She originally started her career in her native Poland working in photography, oil painting and jewellery design. When she immigrated to Canada, she started hand painting and screen printing art on clothing, which developed into her own line of wearable art. She then moved on to the digital arts scene, where she became an expert in the latest tools and techniques for digital design and prepress. Since 1998, Lidka has split her time between running Studio L Digital Graphic Design and Training (now DigitalFelix) and teaching design software courses at George Brown College. She has also written extensively, including several Adobe guidebooks and numerous articles for Graphic Exchange magazine.
