Pat Nassis

Pat Nassis is a consultant who specializes in security audits and threat and risk assessments for both public and private organizations (including high-security facilities). In 2012, she retired from the Toronto Police Service, where she had served as a sergeant in the Emergency Management and Public Order unit, which focused on the risk assessment and protection of Toronto’s critical infrastructure sectors. That role gave her the opportunity to be part of the incident management systems of a number of large-scale events within the City of Toronto. In addition to her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph, Pat has completed three George Brown College Continuing Education certificates: the Emergency Management Program, the Incident Command Management program (now called the Incident Management Program) and our now discontinued Emergency Exercise Design program.
