Paul Jonas




Paul Jonas has more than 20 years of experience in commodity taxation compliance, audits and corporate taxation for the financial and telecommunication industries. He is currently the senior manager of taxation and indirect taxes at the Bank of Montreal. Paul has earned the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified General Accountant (CGA) designations, has completed the In-Depth Tax and In-Residence Goods and Services Tax courses offered by Chartered Professional Accountants Canada (CPA Canada) and attends the CPA Canada Commodity Taxation Symposium annually. In addition to his work in Continuing Education at George Brown College, Paul has taught for the Certified General Accountants of Ontario and Centennial College and has taught courses in auditing, taxation, statistics and accounting as well as Certified Financial Planner courses in income tax, risk/retirement planning, wealth planning and estate planning.
