Suzanne Bernier




Suzanne Bernier is a crisis management consultant who was named Continuity and Resilience Consultant of the Year at the 2016 Business Continuity Institute North America Awards. She is the founder and president of SB Crisis Consulting as well as a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) and a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). For two decades, Suzanne has been involved in helping communities respond, rebuild and/or recover from numerous crises, including the terror attacks in San Bernardino, Brussels and New York; the Fort McMurray wildfires; Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy; the 2009 H1N1 flu pandemic; the Northeast blackout of 2003; the ice storm of 1998; and numerous other floods, fires and severe storms. Prior to her career in business continuity and emergency management, Suzanne was a journalist, a press secretary and a media spokesperson for the Canadian government.
