Victor Trotman is the Senior Director, Labour Relations for the University Health Network (UHN). He is responsible for the negotiation and administration of collective agreements, grievance handling, conciliation, mediation, arbitration and Labour Board hearings associated with collective agreements for this large collective of teaching hospitals. Victor’s career has included working and managing in all areas of human resources except occupational health and safety and organizational development. Prior to joining the UHN, Victor was the manager of purchasing and warehousing at Helix Stationary Services. Victor has taught courses in industrial relations, occupational health and safety, training and development, pension and benefits, organizational behaviour, microeconomics, macroeconomics and labour economics (Seneca College); introductory human resource management and labour relations (Sheridan College); and labour relations (York University, MBA program). He is a regular speaker at Federated Press conferences on topics related to human resource management.
