Our Architectural Technology 3 course teaches you basic architectural design principles for mixed-use commercial/residential buildings. Focus on a design project employing engineered wood products for floor and roof framing systems as well as solid and/or cavity wall systems. Learn how to incorporate these concepts into a set of AutoCAD-produced architectural and structural working drawings. Develop your skills by creating and presenting conceptual drawings and models.

This is normally an in-class course but will be offered temporarily online via Blackboard Learn/Collaborate while college buildings are closed.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our ARCH 9013 Architectural Technology 2 course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Recommendations

You will have the most success in this course if you already have some knowledge of basic AutoCAD drawing setup and AutoCAD construction and editing tools before you start this course.
