Our AutoCAD 2: Advanced 2D course teaches you advanced dimensioning techniques, advanced viewport creation, paper space detailing, multi-layout paper space plotting, hatching, presentation techniques, tables, advanced layer tools, block and symbol libraries, attributes, dynamic blocks, external references, raster images, fields and publishing. Practice using these concepts and procedures to create increasingly complex two-dimensional technical drawings.

Course Essentials:

Free AutoCAD software is available for this course, but system requirements for AutoCAD will be specific to the version of AutoCAD you are using. (This course was developed using the Windows version of AutoCAD. If you are using a Macintosh computer, contact the department co-ordinator for assistance.) Also refer to the basic technology requirements for online courses, but note that you will also be required to have an extra 4 GB of hard drive space to download the course materials.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our CADE 9115 AutoCAD 1: Basic 2D course or our CADE 9125 AutoCAD 1: Basic 2D (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
