Our Business Analysis 1: Business Needs and Requirements Scope course immerses you in the practical elements of the business analyst (BA) role while focusing on problem analysis, business needs definition and scope/user requirements. Using case studies, learn the BA techniques, methodologies and underlying core competencies and how to apply the appropriate models. Get the knowledge and expertise you need to plan, elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and manage business and user requirements in order to support the requirements delivery life cycle. This business analysis course teaches you the discipline by aligning with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK), which is published by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).

This course also includes a one-year IIBA membership.


Course Delivery Method:

This is normally an in-class course but will be offered temporarily online via Blackboard Learn while college buildings are closed. The teacher will send an email with further details on the first scheduled day of class.

The IIBA membership allows you to access the membership content required for this course.


You must have completed our TMGT 9002 Introduction to Technology Delivery course.
