Coffee Foundations HOSF 9456

Our Coffee Foundations course provides you with an introduction to all aspects of coffee. Get a basic knowledge of the botany and taxonomy of the coffee plant, and learn to identify and define the species and growing conditions applicable to the production of coffee. Study the general characteristics and styles of coffee from various regions. Explore the key steps used in coffee manufacturing and processing as well as the regulations impacting the market. Learn both sensory evaluation concepts and the methodology for applying these concepts to coffee then practice tasting coffees using an evaluative method.
