Our Digital Photography 5: Portfolio Development course has been designed for serious hobbyists or those looking to pursue a career in professional photography who want to fine-tune their personal style. Study some of the masters of photography, complete real-life photographic assignments, learn to work with comps, develop a more detailed understanding of colour management and build a portfolio.
You must have a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) or mirrorless camera with manual control. You must also dedicate a reasonable amount of time to coursework outside of class hours.
You must have completed our PHOT 9050 Digital Photography 4: Advanced Lighting Techniques course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
If you are completing courses toward our Digital Photography Program, you will have the most success in this course if you have already completed all the other requirements in the program (including your electives) before you start this course.
