Our Fire Alarm Systems Exam is intended for those wishing to receive recognition by the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) for completion of our ELCL 9037 Fire Alarm Systems course or our ELCL 9084 Fire Alarm Systems (Distance Learning) course.
This course paired with our ELCL 9037 Fire Alarm Systems course or our ELCL 9084 Fire Alarm Systems (Distance Learning) course are equivalent to the Course 5 - Fire Alarm System Application course offered by the CFAA as part of the CFAA Fire Alarm Technician training program.
Exam Delivery Method:
This is a proctored online exam with continuous intake registration. That means you can register at any time throughout the year (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). Make sure to register in the section (CRN) with the Date(s) range that includes the date on which you plan to write the exam. Once you register, you must wait one week and then contact a test location – the CFAA office or a George Brown College assessment centre – to arrange to write the exam. (If you live outside the Greater Toronto Area, you can arrange to write a paper-based version of the exam at a location approved by the department co-ordinator.) When you have completed the exam, your results will be communicated electronically to you, the college and the CFAA. You have a maximum of two attempts to pass the exam before you are required to repeat our ELCL 9037 Fire Alarm Systems course or our ELCL 9084 Fire Alarm Systems (Distance Learning) course.
