An allergy or adverse reaction to gluten should not limit anyone’s enjoyment of sweet treats and baked goods. Our Gluten-free Baking course teaches you to use gluten-free ingredients while exploring the professional techniques and approaches used in gluten-free recipes. Practice making gluten-free breads, pies, cookies, cakes and more.
You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.
You must have completed our HOSF 9134 Baking Arts course or our HOSF 9461 Baking Arts (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.) If you are pursuing our Healthy Culinary Arts Program, the prerequisite is our HOSF 9445 Healthy Culinary Arts course or our HOSF 9476 Healthy Culinary Arts (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
