Our Home Inspection for Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps course teaches you about the basic components of operation for air conditioning systems (such as compressors, condensers and refrigerator lines) and heat pump systems. Also learn about how systems fail, the co-efficient of performance and geothermal efficiency.

This course is offered by George Brown College Continuing Education in partnership with Carson Dunlop. It is also recognized by the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) as an accredited home inspection course and meets part of the requirements for becoming a registered home inspector (RHI).

This is an online course delivered by Carson Dunlop through the Carson Dunlop School of Home Inspection, an interactive e-learning platform. This course consists of a combination of recorded videos, case studies and interactive exercises. Each week, you will be required to view the presentation, complete one or more assignments and complete an assessment. Instructional support will be available online.
