Our Hotel Sales, Marketing and Social Media course recognizes that meetings, conferences and conventions generate significant revenue for the cities that host them and for the hotels and numerous affiliated hospitality and tourism businesses in those cities. Explore the specifics of this segment of the hospitality industry, including the requirements of the various target markets, the contribution of indirect distribution channels and the importance of revenue management. Develop a working knowledge of the sales process used specifically for hotels and how social media is being used in that process. Also learn revenue management skills, including how to interpret and use financial data to make revenue management decisions.
