IT Project Management Practice COMP 9705

Temporarily Online

Our IT Project Management Practice course – offered in partnership with Three O Project Solutions Inc. – is a practical course in IT projects for experienced project managers. Acquire the knowledge and skills used by successful IT project managers in four key areas: project requirements, change, communications and risk. Learn how to turn business goals/objectives into project deliverables within an IT system. Study best practices for meeting demands in a rapidly changing business landscape. Master the communication tools and techniques you need to identify the correct audiences for project information and tailor communications for them. Develop the skills you need to identify project risks and take the necessary steps to mitigate them. Also learn the differences between traditional and agile project management methodologies, and study their pros, cons and applications. This project management course uses a combination of formal classroom training – based on the PMBOK Guide and other best industry practices – and team exercises.

This course has been accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Receive 34 PMI professional development units (PDU) from ThreeO Project Solutions if you pass this course.
