Nutrition and Special Topics HLTH 9076

Our Nutrition and Special Topics course provides an overview of the physiological characteristics and functions of the six basic classes of nutrients. Learn to apply the tools of nutritional science to a detailed health study, and explore the development and nutritional origins of diet-related chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, obesity, cancer, type-2 diabetes and hypertension.


You must have completed our GSCI 1019 Health and Wellness (Distance Learning) course or our GSCI 1028 Health and Wellness (Distance Learning) course and our GSCI 1120 Nutrition (Distance Learning) course. (Approved equivalents are also acceptable.)
