Our Proofreading course teaches you the special skills involved in detecting and marking errors in various kinds of copy. Learn about live copy, dead copy, dry reading, and the difference between copyediting and proofreading. Get the skills you need to identify and correct deviations from specifications, problems in technical quality, and issues in language and thought.
Prerequisites
You must have a familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and you must have completed our LIBA 9294 Copyediting (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
