OntarioLearn description: This course provides students with an overview of sensing systems including aerial photography, multi spectral scanning, radar, and thermography. The imagery generated by these systems is compared in terms of its temporal, spatial, spectral and radiometric resolution, and the suitability of each system for particular purposes. Using Digital Imaging software, processing techniques for enhancing, correcting and classifying Landsat multi spectral scanner data are introduced.

Course Essentials:
You must have ArcGIS Pro, which is available for download at no additional cost through the course. (You will not be able to install ArcGIS Pro on a Macintosh. Macintosh systems are not supported in this course.)
Prerequisites
You must have completed COMP 9518 Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (Distance Learning). (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
