Our Savoury Baking course teaches you to combine baking and culinary skills to produce delicious baked goods using savoury ingredients. Learn a variety of baking styles, and practice preparing a selection of products, including phyllo pastry, puff pastry, Cornish pasties and soufflés.

Course Essentials:
You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.
Prerequisites
You must have completed our HOSF 9134 Baking Arts course or our HOSF 9461 Baking Arts (Distance Learning) course or our HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 (Distance Learning) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Allow for enough time to be screened at St. James Campus, 290 Adelaide St. E., Building C (SJC) before heading to your classroom each week. Keep in mind that classes are not operating by restaurant rules; you will not be able to taste food and must wear the provided face shield or eye goggles throughout the class.
