Our Scholarly Writing in Nursing course focuses on the skills and strategies necessary for articulating concepts and ideas in a logical and scholarly manner, for analyzing research literature and for applying American Psychological Association (APA) format and style rules for citing and quoting materials. Develop the information literacy skills you need to locate, analyze and apply information using a variety of library techniques and resources. Scholarly Writing in Nursing emphasizes critical reading, critical thinking, academic research, argumentation and writing style as well as the stages of the writing process.
You must complete this course during your first term of study in the Academic Pathway for Internationally Educated Nurses Program (CE0133) or the Registered Practical Nursing Diploma Completion Program.
