Our TIG Welding Practical Skills course uses a focused hands-on learning environment to teach you how to apply the tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding knowledge and skills you acquired in our Welding 2 course. TIG welding theory and in-shop exercises are designed to introduce you to the tools, practical techniques and shop tasks required in the TIG welding – also known as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) – process.
Course Delivery Method:
This course uses a blended format that combines online (through the CWBi Acorn national welding program framework) and shop environments.
You must have your own CSA-approved safety footwear and protective eyewear and wear them while in shop areas.
You must have completed our WELD 9039 Welding 2 course.
