Seniors (at least 65 years old by the start date of a course) are entitled to a 20% discount on the tuition of any Continuing Education course. This discount applies to the base tuition only and not to materials fees or other related course fees. You are eligible to apply the senior’s discount to a maximum of two courses per term, and George Brown College reserves the right to limit the number of seniors enrolling with discounted tuition in any one course.

In order to receive the senior’s discount, you must register in person and show proof of age. This discount is not available if you register online.

In order to receive the discount while college buildings are closed, you must email the registration department at with your full name, the name of the course you are interested in, the CRN of the section in which you wish to register and a copy of a piece of government-issued identification that shows your age (for example, a driver's licence). Once you are registered, the registration department will send you information about how to pay online through your student account (STU-VIEW) using your student ID number and password.

There is an active Seniors' Association at the college. For more information about programs or upcoming activities for seniors, call 416-415-5000, ext. 2418.
